The service wa... read more During our stay at the cottage, we went here for lunch. Coz we were late in the afternoon, they offered us a snack menu. Everything tasted great. The service was great. The staff and management were all very welcoming. This is a very nice little place in Uxbridge. Can't go wrong with it.

The steak I ordered was like eating shoe leather with flavour, I couldn't eat it. Did not feel welcome either, by the manager I believe.

The building and locale are interesting. I'd have to come a few more times to have a considered opinion, but based on one visit, it's definitely a place I'd return to.

We got there on tim... read more We were looking for a fine dining experience for a Friday night and decided to drive to Tin Mill. I called and made reservations beforehand. We got there on time and I was surprised that there was no hostess. Since the sign said please wait to be seated, we waited for about 5 minutes. The place looked busy but not super busy. Finally someone came and took us to our table outside in their patio. It was nice and the lighting was just perfect. It has a nice, comfortable atmosphere. For starters I had the beef lettuce wraps with chimichurri. They were VERY tasty! I recommend them. My partner had the charcuterie board...not that great! Don 't order that one...I can make a better one at home. For the main course I had the duck with plantain chorizo. It was delicious!!! I highly recommend this dish. It was tasty, juicy and the combination of the plantain and chorizo mixed together like mashed potatoes was very yummy! My partner had the veal special on a couscous salad. It was also very good! We were very happy with our choices! For dessert I had the berry custard. It was OK. Nothing spectacular but not bad. My partner had the carrot pineapple cake and it was VERY good! I can 't wait to have it again. The main course was about $25 each, plus a bottle of wine and we also had their sangria (it was good! The best Sangria is from el Pebleyo...they changed their name now)...it was $10 each. Overall diner was about $250-$275...we had a nice date night! We were overall impress with dinner that we went back today (Sunday) for brunch. We sat at the patio again. I had the quesadilla...not so great. It was tasteless...don 't order it! My partner had the chorizo with eggs poutine...it was good...fatty...it was eh! I also tried their mimosa. It was ok. We weren 't impress with brunch. For $75 we would prefer to go to Windsor Arms hotel. However, the environment was fantastic! The patio is lovely and the drive there is superb! We will go back again!
