we ate on Sunday afternoon on the last weekend and the quality and quantity of food was as always excellent. despite quite completeness, the service remains timely and polite. it is so beautiful that when ordering water, this is served with ice and lemon, and not with the frit they get so often in other facilities. Our first visit after a friend made a recommendation. Whilst we enjoyed the evening and would return there was a disappointment when one of the main courses was not hot when served. We advised the waitress who took the dish away and it returned having been heated up at a guess in a microwave. View all feedback.

Beautiful decoration. good food. menu online is different, but it is good to eat decent.
We have often gone to lunch in the axe and compasses, or for a little good midweek dinner. we are always warmly welcomed and well fed, and so it was the obvious choice for our Christmas dinner this year. eating was great, service organized brilliant and rushed, and as always the atmosphere was fantastic. cannot thank the entire team enough for a fantastic afternoon.
We have a meal quite frequently but always feel so full and delighted with service. Very comfortable and pleasing
