Restaurant with a long history and good quality. Small portions for the price. Very well taken care of. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
Very good place to share. very rich food and ideal attention.
The very rich tapas, very dry brazil lamb of lechal, incomible.
Traditional food is average. The place is dark and dingy and quite loud if you sit inside. Croquetas are good though, I’d recommend those.
I had a shrimp omelet which was light and fresh, my DH ordered the sautéed artichokes with ham. They were tiny artichokes with what looked like cured bacon, he loved it. The lunch plates were served with hot bread rolls, but no butter. We found out that butter are considered part a breakfast serving, so we had to content ourselves to olive oil drizzled on the bread.
This is a gem of a place having good quality tapas and light meals together with restaurant tables at the rear. I went for lunch and ordered Ham Eggs with chips. Always a good basic meal to test how good the preparation is. It exceeded mine with a good potion of very tasty ham and eggs that were still runny and not cooked to obliteration. So I decided to return in the evening for some more but sadly I discovered they closed on Tuesday evening and Wednesday, so did not have the pleasure. Corredera street leads up from the Fountain roundabout Plaza Santa Ana and is quite central to the main sights in town.
