It i... read more This is probably the best restaurant in the whole Utrecht. Me and my partner had 5 meals plus 2 deserts in total and each of the meals tasted so different. It is really a presentation of a modern gastronomy and it shows food can be done in a new, surprising way. Even such a simple food like garlic flatbread tasted better. I also enjoyed their significant cocktails. We had a server named Judith and she has made the whole experience even better with her approach. We have unfortunately found a hair in our tzatziki, but she apologised thoroughly and offered to give us a new portion, which we didn't take because we were already full. She ended up taking the whole meal from our bill without us asking and she apologised again. Even though this inconvenience happened, her reaction is why we are still giving 5 stars. She did a great job. I was joking that I'd like to take the chef of this restaurant home so they can cook for me every day. The food they cooked looked so appealing and had an explosion of unexpectedly flavourful taste. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures of the food and drinks but I'm sure whatever you get will look amazing. For 4 dishes, 2 deserts, 2 cocktails and 2 beers we payed 111 euros. To make it a shared dining concept, the dishes should have an acceptable amount of bites. Therefore, I left the restaurant incredibly disappointed. Nevertheless, they are paperless and you need to scan a barcod... read more Forward, because I'm not sure, I just sit or go to the restaurant and tell them I'll sit outside. Nevertheless, they are paperless and you need to scan a barcode for the menu (I didn't know that, but you can use your phone camera to scan the barcode and Wollah! a pop-up appears that open is a browser where you can view the menu). We had sandwiches, coffee and beer. The food was very delicious and you get value for your money. I had a salmon sandwich and the fish was fresh. The coffee is also good, had two because it tasted so good. I returned to this restaurant a few times for service, food and atmosphere. My first visit was in winter and they have heating and the other times in summer where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. By the way, you can smoke outside. Speaking outside the location is also close to a bus stop, centrally located, to the Utrecht Centrum. If you are in Utrecht and have to take a bite or you want lunch, I would definitely recommend Jackrabbit. Thank you.
