As main dishes we had the ikan(fish) cu... read more So happy we'll eat here again tonight. Authentic Sumatra cuisine. Our starters were especially the Soto Ayam Soto Sayur. As main dishes we had the ikan(fish) curry, babi goreng, daging blado, bami goreng special and chapcay. It was great again. The fish curry for 1pers was 1 1⁄2 fish fillet and the babi goreng and Daging Blado were both two plates full of beautiful pig and beef. The prices are very decent €€ especially for the amount of quality and taste. The owner serves the guests themselves and even helps in the kitchen if necessary. Even the Indonesian jasmine tea tasted good and I usually don't like jasmine tea. Kitchen staff are native Sumatra Indonesia cooks. Like I said authentic taste of Sumatra. Even the music inside is traditional Indonesia music. It was like on holiday. Friendly helpful staff. Every dish they served was empty! I forgot the name of the Indonesian dessert. But look at the picture, it doesn't look great! Thank you again, sir.

The Rames Vegetarish offered a tasting... read more We went here at about 8:30 on a Saturday night. The food is simply outstanding, full of flavor and so carefully prepared. The Rames Vegetarish offered a tasting of so many specialties, I kept changing my favorite. The yellow rice was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Two of us got the noodles as a base and they were outstanding. The service can be slow because there are so few workers, but relax, get a tap beer, and enjoy the cozy ambiance. We are only here a week but will go back again.

The menu is a bit hit-and-miss: some dishes are much better than others. Minus one star because recent price increases have made this restaurant expensive, while the quality of the food has gone in the other direction.
