I mentioned that I am gluten-free in my reservation and when we arrived one of the first things they asked was who was gluten-free. Next they explained everything I could and could not eat. The server was very knowledgeable and knew about cross-contamination and pointed to the dishes that were risky. We had almost no contact with the staff. No good day or hello upon arrival, someone walked to the table but no explanation or drink was offered. It felt like we just had to start cooking ourselves in a bad atmosphere with overpriced meat that also arrived frozen. First time hot pot and luckily it started well, super tasty meat in good portions. Also, spicy is really spicy here! Staff are friendly. very nice experience. Very disappointing food. The soup was just spicy and had no flavour whatsoever. In Hong Kong, hotpot soup has garlic, onions, coriander, ginger and spices to flavour the meat.
