It's a beautiful hotel that is nestled in the middle of the city.... read more I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Karel V (May 31- June 4th) for my first time in Europe! It's a beautiful hotel that is nestled in the middle of the city. I enjoyed exploring, everything is within walking distance and I felt safe! Of course, still be aware of your surroundings. I had stayed in the cozy wooden empire room and I enjoyed the views. If you choose this room, just know that it's very bright in the mornings! If you prefer darkness, wear a light blocking sleep mask or choose a different room! The staff was very accommodating and the service was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Good quality is so well maintained and is of high quality. Bedrooms and washrooms are properly sanitised and hygienic.
