Came after work, waited on line patiently and respectfully to join my 5 friends already dancing inside, was then singled out by the staff as they were letting plenty of other people in, the only brown person in a crowd of white people and was blatantly lied to about the closing time of the bar so I would leave. If you're brown and willing to fetishize yourself to appeal to the gaze of others there's a place for you, if you just want to dance, clebrate yourself and others, and be comfortable in your own skin do not come here. And whoever you are, you will probably have the fun night out you want but please do not mistake Body Talk for an establishment that truly stands for anything that resembles inclusivity, just an establishment that profits off of it. Truly a shame.
