I recently returned to the area to find some of my most loved pizza spots were not as good as they used to be. We tried Trulli do Turi for the first time tonight and it was The BEST pizza I’ve had in a long time! The sauce is amazing, the toppings delicious, and cooked to perfection! View all feedback.
What Peter Barrett doesn't like about Trulli Di Turi Pizza Pasta:
I wasn’t really impressed with any of the food that I had, which were greens, upside-down pizza, meatballs, and antipasto. I found it all to be pretty bland. For a few examples, the greens had no discernible garlic or prosciutto. There was also no parmesan/crumb topping on it. The meatballs were small and dry. The pizza was palatable, but not nearly as good as some other local versions. If they added more flavor to t... View all feedback.
Great pizza but wish their hours were earlier than 4:00. Often times I order somewhere else because I just want to get home especially on a Friday night.
This is the best upside down pizza in Utica. Trulli has become the go-to place for my family. The cannoli and cream puffs are great. Always friendly and always on time.
Amazing food and great people! The pizza is the best in town!
I really do not like grated cheese. That's my hang up. But I ordered here and gave them several chances, but the last straw came last week when I ordered my regular small sausage and peppers upside down with no grated cheese. When I picked it up it had so much grated cheese on it and he tried to hide it with another layer of sauce, but I swear to Christ it had double the amount of grated cheese out of spite. If you don't want to sell me the product the way I would like it that's your right. But don't tell me it's not a problem then double it up because you feel I'm being a pain. This place is seemingly about to go under it struggling pretty hard. Seems extremely foolish to be spiteful with the handful of customers you still have. Now, in the past, they have only made the pizza correctly on the 1st attempt once. Every other time it needs to be remade. I saw the cheese and told the guy a little would be alright (because I didn't want them to waste food/money and go out of business because the pizza is great when they get it right) but then I got it home and one bite all I could taste was the Romano and the sauce was so thick with it it made me sick. It just smells and tastes like dirty feet to me. Just terrible. But to treat your customer this way is just as bad

The antipasto was good, and I liked how they lined the catering pan with provolone and Italian meats. I thought that was a nice touch.
