Whoops , This is a great place... read more Updated:So maybe you have never had the Utica pizza with Cheese on the bottom of the sauce. I originally called it Tomato Pie... Whoops , This is a great place to dig into one. The hardest part of ordering, is deciding not to order a Slices' regular pie, which BTW, they have a great upstate thin crust NY city style pizza too. I will make the drive to Utica for their pizza, it is that good. This is not a fancy sit down Pizzeria, but if you can't wait to get it home, they have tables, its very casual. The purple wings are unique and very tasty. If the desserts are as good as their pizzas I will have to give them a try next time I am in town, haven't tried that yet....

Slice i... read more I grew up in Utica but have since moved away for work. Over the years it's tough to see the family owned buissness you grew up with all slowly go under. Slice is such a breathe of fresh air. The pizza and wings are in my opinion the best in the city and I live in Boston. They rival the best pizza in Boston. Phenomenal food, not Phenomenal for Utica NY but Phenomenal anywhere. We need young people to start as many high quality buissneses in Utica as possible and Slice is the perfect representation of that.

Didn't realize it was so hard to cook a sub and I also find it funny that the owner only takes time out of his day to reply to good reviews P.S. after the owner finally reviewed a bad review Even if it did take 2 minutes to bread your so called fresh chicken breast it doesn't take 21 minutes to throw some sauce, cheese, and couple peppers on the sub P.S.S. you're obviously retarded like your baby and can't read either
