Gasthaus Knudsen is a traditional German restaurant in the village of Utersum. The decor already prepares you for the place - traditional, old German style, with not a single fashionable element.The same applies to the cuisine. They don't try to be fancy. They serve German food, well executed and nicely presented. Just simple and tasty. As discerning diners, we didn't have anything to criticise. Service was friendly and quick. Also here no frills, just doing their job well. And the value matches the experience, not cheap, but adequate.When in the area and looking for simple and tasty German food, Gasthaus Knudsen can be highly recommended.

One of the last guest houses with long tradition. since the 18th century. really original, North German with fantastic, homemade, regional cuisine. Only the North German beer is missing.

Excellent food, whether fish, meat or vegetarian. Early booking is recommended. The nice, attentive service ensures a good evening.

Very friendly chefin and nice staff. that eat very finely cooked and dressed. the local very cozy.
