Since our car was in the inspect... read more After a beautiful sailing weekend with our favorite friend on the Baltic Sea, we drove home from Stau to Stau. A1 A7 all close. Since our car was in the inspection and we were on the road with a rental car, we had to rely on its navigation system. Unfortunately, it didn't work so well... At some point, it had been enough for us and we decided to drive all road from Hannover. The Navi had the most amazing track ideas, but obviously wasn't quite up to date; some construction sites and full locks had not captured it. After a few hours drive, all of us took the appetite mode and we shot a stop in one of the next villages. The village was called Uslar and the sign to a Greek local “Artemis” did not wait long. The restaurant was located right next to a sports field, parking is sufficient. >Sunday evening, hopefully we get a place < my girlfriend, but amazingly wise the parking was almost empty. There was only one table in the restaurant. What happened? Ah, Bundesliega – clear! Stuttgart vs. Schalke, Southampton vs. Manchester United... Between the traffic jams on the radio, game levels were constantly passed through and in the evening there were some top games. OK – that explains everything. The host welcomed us very friendly. The place seemed a little “old-baked” from the furniture, but the facility was discreet for Greek conditions! No exaggerated decoration columns etc. and on the tables were genuine Gerbera, no plastic flowers! All clean, even the sanitary facilities, but they are a few steps down – so nix for taxi drivers. The menus are clear. My girlfriend and you chose Gyros with rice and salad (8,50€ , my skipper Gyros with Souvlaki (11,50€ , plus 3 drinks worth 9, €. There was a side salad with fresh vegetables. The Gyros was perfectly prepared on the outside and in a juicy manner. Amazing portions for small prices. Well spiced, short waiting times, nice service – for 37.50€ three cunning stomachs filled. I'm glad to see you again when we have a traffic jam to redirect.
