What keith B doesn't like about The New Court Inn:
I had a disappointing experience during Sunday dinner. The meat was dry, the gravy tasted like it was from a packet, and everything was just terrible. It felt overpriced for what was basically hospital food. I wouldn’t recommend it. View all feedback.
Can not recommend enough. beautiful old pub with very beautiful beer garden. excellent selection of drinks. very friendly staff. stuart the manager was very accommodating for our hungry baby and got the food for them very fast. eating was delicious, could have been done with more chips! will certainly be visited as often as possible.
Good food and a lot of it. I normally go for the Sunday Roast but decided to go for the fish and chips. Not disappointed with my choice. As a starter I had the creamed mushrooms on bruchetter. For me there was too much of the cream sauce and 3 small pieces of bruchetter. The fish was a large battered piece and the chips were crunchy and soft in the centre. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. The wife normally asks for a child portion, but didn't this time. She didn't have a starter, chose the roast pork. This came with a lot of veg which she struggled to with. All very nice just too much. She then had the sticky toffee pudding custard, which she thoroughly enjoyed. All this with a double gun and tonic and large glass of Malbec came to £50. Will be looking to book again soon.
Beautiful pub. Lovely welcoming staff. The restaurant was beautiful, full of character. Fine dining experience at a low cost. Beautiful food from starter to dessert. Walnut pate starter was the best starter I've ever had.
Good atmosphere. Attentive staff and good food, health and safety is adhered to very well, screens in place and hand sanitisation is available at multiple locations. Whoring a mask is compulsory if not sat down at a table or sat in the rear garden. We well advise to have the steak, good prices with a top meal
