Despite the brief wait times, the service was friendly and prompt, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. It was entertaining to see the pub cat roaming around, although it seemed completely indifferent to us, which my partner found amusingly suspicious.

Beautiful pub. we didn't eat, but it looked nice to eat. the staff was helpful, polite and friendly. modern, fresh decor. what is not to like. we are going back to the final.
This is a lovely riverside pub featuring a spacious garden. It was our first visit since it reopened, and we were quite pleased. They have a great selection of wines from the Wye Valley, as well as a decent range of apple wines. The lunch menu offers a variety of tasty options at affordable prices.
Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I made the reservation! We were warmly welcomed and seated at a fabulous table with a beautiful river view. The food was expertly seasoned, beautifully presented, served at the perfect temperature, and the portions were just right. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere struck a lovely balance between relaxed and professional. Dining here is truly a joy, whether you're enjoying a light lunch or celebrating a special occasion. The menu is delightful and the prices are reasonable for the quality offered. I will definitely be returning!

It was entertaining to see the pub cat roaming around, although it seemed completely indifferent to us, which my partner found amusingly suspicious. We stayed in Room 1, which was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with good facilities. The bed was comfortable, and the usual coffee-making supplies and free Wi-Fi were available, which are expected amenities these days. While the coffee supplies might have been a bit limited, this was a minor detail—especially since there was great coffee available downstairs, and it feels somewhat nitpicky to mention. Throughout our stay, the staff were helpful and accommodating. In summary, we would highly recommend dining or staying here.
