Absolutely gorgeous afternoon tea! Really beautifully presented...superb array of savoury and sweet elements. Everything tasted devine. As a party we were well waited on and service was spot on. This afternoon tea is substantial yet elegant-so much to enjoy! Thanks all-The Glen Yr Afon you catered and attended us first rate. Highly recommended. Noteworthy details: Great Parking and well managed and clean rest-rooms. Grounds are perfect for photos too!

Brilliant stay, friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and had everything you need, including, tea/ coffee/ biscuits/shampoo etc, windows opened which was lovely. Slept well, bed was comfy. Only one spare power point so needed to manage that, but not unusual for a hotel and could unplug kettle etc for extra points. Breakfast was cooked perfectly, and lots of it. Proper apple juice! Walkable to the centre of Usk. Rooms: 5
