While discussing our dilemma with the desk clerk another guest suggested Christopher’s. We had narrowed our choices down to two and since Christopher’s was closer, we are on foot, we decided...to go there. Once inside I was very impressed with the decor and available views of the harbor and mountains. Our server, Patrick, soon approached our table helped with our wine selection and mentioned the special. When in Argentina one must eat beef I suppose so I inquired on which to order. I had it down to the ribeye but when he told me it was grams I had to pass and instead selected the lamb ragout. My friend ordered the special which was locally sourced trout. Neither of us were disappointed but buyer beware, the portions are huge, one entree would suffice for two modest diners. Our wine was great the service superb and all of this for a total cost we were pleasantly surprised with. While the meal was great, the surroundings most pleasant it was Patrick who made our experience memorable. He tolerated my faulty Spanish and helped me when I struggled or made a mistake. His English was very good, much better than my Spanish and we had a few chuckles at each of our expense. I must include something about the rest of the staff we encountered, all were very friendly with a smile for every guest. Our time here is short so we probably will not have time to return but please know, you will not be disappointed

The meat was delicious, demanded blood, perfect cooking! He served us a boy, his name is Patricio... Nice and kind! Really professional! Even the sweet very good! If you come to Ushuaia I highly recommend this place! Congratulations!
