Hy-vee Market Grille Express

I could not have been more disappointed with the food or service we received the morning of 10/8/22.Everything ordered was cold—Nutella Banana Waffle, biscuits and gravy, over medium eggs, pancakes, and bacon all cold.We also found multiple hairs in our meals.The waitress was missing for most of the dining experience. After placing our order, we had to fill our coffee cups twice. I had to ask two other servers for the bill and send the assigned server to the table. In doing so it took 10 minutes for our server to come out with the check and another 5 minutes to return with our bill. With a “small employee discount” off because of the cold food.The hostess was the only bright spot; she sat us promptly and got our coffee and water upon arrival.The restaurant was not busy, seemed fully staffed, and other patrons had to go to the waitress area to fill their drinks/coffee too.Bad service all around.I would strongly urge those considering dining here to look elsewhere.

It's HyVee, they have best quality food in the country. Super clean.

It would be a lot better if you can sit down and order like a regular restaurant. 100% lame and kind of a turn off. The food is pretty good and the service is dang good too.

10/22 10:20am. while being seated was told food would take 45 minutes get to table. Told the hostess fine. Played on my phone for 15 -20 minutes. Asked for someone to take my order. After waiting another 5 minutes walked out. ?

Was there on a Thursday night with a decent size group and even though they were short staffed, everything moved smoothly.Parking: Since it shares a lot with Hy-Vee, there is plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp close to the entrance and has handicapped parking right up front.
