Perkins Restaurant - Urbana

Found this via Yelp; mixed reviews but we were hungry and didn't feel like driving more than we already had.

I don't usually have much good to say about chain restaurants in CUBut I feel some positive feedback is warranted in this case.

Perkins is like Denny's but less gross and I love Denny's so I super-love Perkins. Our server, Rebekah, was very attentive, quick, and accommodating

Very good place for breakfast and lunch. I came here for Eggs Benedict, but was distracted by seasonal menu and decided to try Sonoma chicken salad Croissant with strawberry salad. Let me tell you, for the price it was just great. If this salad costs $20 I would expect no onion in it, canned walnuts they were not actually crowned), something like blue cheese and no walnut peel I got two pieces in my salad). Will definitely visit this place again.

Could be my new favorite midnight snack place in town. Staff are friendly and the environment is clean.
