The Dock Bar & Restaurant - Urangan

Eleven of us girls enjoyed fine food and Marina views at this relaxing venue. The staff greeted us with a smile, and our drinks and food choices were delivered promptly. The Marina views are the icing on the cake.

Best eat out experience ever. Great friendly staff, very helpful. Great tapas style food and good value.

Excellent food and service. I have dinner and a drink here when I travel for work every few months. It’s always consistent and has a great atmosphere about the place.

Everything about this restaurant impressed. The ambience, the service and the food were all top class. Although this restaurant is a little tucked away at the rear of the Mantra hotel at Urangan, Hervey Bay it was certainly worth the effort to find. From the moment we entered to the time we left it was a pleasurable experience. The service was fantastic from the time we sat down to the time we paid the bill. The food was delicious, we chose the Italian Dock plate, pan fried barramundi and Greek lamb gyros. Although these are tapas size meals they were enough and thoroughly delicious. My wife also had room for the Bailey pan a cotta and according to her beautiful. Overall a place we will definitely go back to when in Hervey Bay again.

I would rate this restaurant a 4 out of 5. The service was excellent, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating. However, the food was only average, earning a 3 out of 5 rating. Our drinks were a bit slow to arrive, but the food came out in batches as expected for a tapas restaurant. We tried a variety of dishes including garlic mushrooms, chicken wings, cheesy garlic bread, and prawns. Some dishes were better than others. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Hervey Bay as it has a nice atmosphere and pleasant vibes.
