Smokey Joe's Cafe Bar & Grill The Ramada

We enjoyed the food at Smokey Joe's and the service was great. Doug Edwards on his guitar was entertaining and versatile his style of music gave it a wonderful atmosphere which made the night. We returned the following week this time with friends... but unfortunately the magic of the place wasn't there the food was okay, the staff were very busy and Doug played his guitar but the atmosphere was missing something which was a shame.

We ordered entrees and mains and all were delicious, could not fault. Our waitress Tyler was so lovely and noticed this as she worked the entire room.

The waitress at this restaurant seemed very political. We ordered 6 drinks for the table, but 5 out of 6 came with incorrect ingredients. When we asked for a replacement, we were told that we could either keep the drinks or get a refund, but they wouldn't make new ones. The first entrees we received were missing half of the ingredients they were supposed to have. The whole group was disappointed and vowed not to come back. The bruschetta we ordered for $17 plus a supplement was not worth it. It had no onion or basil, and the bread was not toasted.

I was on a business trip and decided to try the new menu at Smokey Joes. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered the fresh calamari with new cut chips and salad, but everything was overly salted which ruined the dish. The side salad was the only thing I enjoyed. The banana dessert was also a letdown as the bananas were too ripe and tasteless. Perhaps they would have been better in a smoothie. Despite the disappointing meal, I will still return to Ramada as the location is great and the staff are amazing.

We were excited for ribs after spending a long time on a boat. We ordered our starter and waited for over an hour before asking about our main dish. Eventually, it arrived but it was cold and bland, with a minimal amount of sauce. The fries seemed to have been sitting in the fryer for hours.
