Coast Restaurant & Bar - Urangan

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. This was our third visit, and if we were locals we'd be dining here way more often. We indulged in the $60 shared tasting plate menu (there were 8 of us), and it was sublime. Generous serves, beautifully presented and well cooked (or not in the case of the tuna) plates of food, everything just worked together so well. The most heavenly squid ink risotto with calamari that you could imagine. Sensational. A great selection of wines and knowledgeable and attentive staff. Prices extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food and service. We had the best night!

The location is good, along the beach, the service efficient and the food excellent. Whether you are a seafood person or rather carnivorous, you will find excellent dishes there.

Arrival in a rather noisy room, even if the space between the tables is quite generous. Tables and chairs in light wood, but a rather impersonal atmosphere A high-level welcome by a butler who loves her job and her restaurant. A very personal and delicious choice of wines, for reasonable prices But the solid one: on the principle of dishes to be shared between the guests, and of shared pleasure, the dishes are quite simply delicious: we tasted three different dishes, none left us unresponsive, including the goat beets. Exquisite and, not expecting it, we had our best dining time in Australia.

Very reasonably priced food and very well prepared. The lamb was marvellous. Staff were helpful and friendly.

After 3 days and nights of so-so dining experiences in the Bay, the Coast was recommended and didn't disappoint. Our waiter was very informative, attentive and friendly. He explained the share plate approach at the Coast and we ran with it. We started with the special of blue fin tuna sashimi and it was divine. All of a sudden our bellies were smiling again. Our meal continued in a great atmosphere, with good timing and the level of deliciousness stayed high throughout. There is an emphasis on local produce and the freshness can be tasted on the plate. Finishing with a liquorice sponge and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert...both unusual and both amazing!Well worth a visit and we would definitely go back
