I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while driving from Newcastle to Tenterfield, and it exceeded my expectations. This isnβt your typical pub; it serves restaurant-quality food. The lamb backstrap I ordered was sensational, cooked exactly to my liking. The menu features a wide variety, from standard pub classics to more sophisticated dishes, along with some fantastic daily specials. It's definitely worth a visit, and it provides a dining experience worth making a trip for.
This is a fantastic restaurant with a wonderful selection of dishes and excellent quality food. I would have given it a full 5 stars, but the service was a bit slow during the busy April/Easter holidays when the restaurant was packed. Nevertheless, I plan to return the next time I'm in the area.
Great spot after a hard day's ride. The restaurant is first class with a large selection not what you would expect in a small country town.
The other day, I stopped at the Top Pub in Uralla for a quick meal while riding home. I have dined at restaurants across the globe, but I have to say, the pub food here is exceptional. I'm so impressed that I'm planning to bring a few friends back for a weekend just to sample more of the menu. The restaurant and bar create a wonderful atmosphere, and the outdoor dining experience was particularly lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. Before you leave, be sure to try one of the famous homemade pies just across the street. It's also a short ride to the Ebor Falls.
