Lilly's - Uppsala

Opposite the Carl Linnaeus museum and his families amazing botanical garden from 1741 is this rather charming cafe. Sit outside and watch the world go by. Great grilled sandwiches. Salads and drinks... absolutely loved the ease and charm of this place.

No complaints. The food was really tasty and came very quickly. We were able to be seated outdoors. Staff was friendly. On the pricy side though: 250 drinks /person. The nachos could have used a lot more cheese for their price. RE: there was nothing wrong with the bathroom.

Had the king kong pizza and it really was one of the best pizzas ive ever tasted. However, ironically enough the salami on the pizza was definitely expired, as weird as this sounds. The pizza covered most of the bad salami taste which is why we didnt send it back, but once we took it off the pizza and tried it there was no doubt it was something wrong with it. Its a testament to their pizza that they can have expired ingredients on it and it still tastes good, however i do regret not telling the staff about it as i didnt feel great afterwards.

The service is great and the place looks nice with funky music in the background. I had some good mexican food in my life, and this place doesn't live up to that at all. It much better than taco bar and probably the best you can find as mexican food in Uppsala though.
