Ardtara Country House - Upperlands

I took my Australian partner to England, and we had the most wonderful night! The hotel room was incredible, and we absolutely loved the log fire on the rainy Sunday when we arrived. Our dinner at the restaurant was even more impressive. The tasting menu was expertly crafted by the chef, and I highly recommend it! The smoked beef was to die for, and I couldn't get enough of the soufflé! The staff was very welcoming and attentive throughout our time at Ardtara, which made the experience fantastic!

We visited Ardtara back in July for a fifth birthday party and had such a fantastic time that we knew we had to come back. So, we returned for lunch on Sunday, October 15th. We started with the salmon and goat cheese appetizer, and both of us opted for the beef main course (I added extra gravy—delicious!). For dessert, we enjoyed the caramelized lemon tart and chocolate nemesis, along with bread, tea, and coffee petit fours. Everything was absolutely delightful! The staff were not only very professional but also incredibly friendly, which is a hard balance to strike. We’ve already made plans to come back in December with friends, and we can't wait, especially if we get to attend the napkin folding champion class that Davey promised!

My partner and I had a wonderful overnight stay at Ardtara this week to celebrate our 7th anniversary. It was our first visit, and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly special and welcomed. The entire place was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the fire that was lit in our room. Our dinner was delicious, and breakfast was just as delightful—every bite was a treat from start to finish! I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful location to spend vaterday. friendly staff, a nice dining room and delicious food. much fun! would definitely recommend.

We stayed 1 night in a superior room. The room was very treat fully decorated and beautiful view out into the grounds. The Taster menu with wines was outstanding every course was delicious and the pairing of the wine excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will go back.
