Love this place! The lunch was awesome! We ordered the Forsters Long board (6 diff tapas from curried lentils, pork jelly, beef stew etc), Freedom Farms trio of pork (I find the pork a little dry) and the desserts short board (3 different desserts that were so yummy). A bit disappointing after several great dining experiences across Nelson. We were sat toward the corner at a table with limited view (despite not being full); many had recommended Forsters for the views. Menu items were not labeled Gluten-Free/Veg (only time during our 5-day NZ stay where this was the case); and server didn 't have knowledge of what was GF (also, a rarity in NZ). What a fabulous dinner accompanied by the perfect wine, excellent service and an all round great experience.The food was delicious , beautifully presented with every ingredient and detail noted and enjoyed.
