The food was mostly tasty but some of options were a bit strange for an afternoon tea. The scone was more like a small cake, therewas also some banana bread on the savory plate, and something like a strata as well but not very flavorful and hard to figureout. We has a dairy allergy at the table and they could not clearly tell us which items had milk products and which didn't, soI would recommend not coming here with severe restrictions. A shellfish allergy was fine to accommodate, however.

Crowded with cellphone charms and fast-fashion shirts. Super weird. But the tea service was commendable, thesandwiches and pastries tasty, the scones excellent, and the service good enough.

As a big fan of afternoon tea, I had a wonderful experience at the Painted Tea Cup. I visited for a bachelorette event, and we were seated in a private room that fit 15-20 people perfectly. It really felt like having afternoon tea at someone's home. The decor was charming and cozy, and even the bathroom matched the theme. The selection of teas was excellent, and the food was delightful as well. They provided detailed explanations of the menu and accommodated our dietary restrictions. There's a parking lot connected to the building, plus plenty of street parking available nearby.
