Jersey Mike's Subs - Upland

I really appreciated how the staff kindly transformed my BBQ beef sub into a liquid form so I could enjoy it! You all made me incredibly happy!

I tried Jersey Mike's on 7th St in Upland, CA for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely loved it! It's hands down the best sub (or as I prefer to call them, grinders) I've had since I was a kid enjoying grinders from Queens in San Bernardino.

The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. The Kahana, which is a Philly cheesesteak with added mushrooms and jalapeños, is fantastic. I also added chipotle, which was delicious. I wouldn't recommend tackling the giant 18-inch version, but it's hard to resist, and I ended up doing it anyway!

First off let me start by saying that I love Jersey Mike's, their Chipotle cheese steak sandwich is absolutely phenomenal out-of-this-world melty cheesy a nice kick of Chipotle mayo just an amazing sandwich first off. Now that I have that out of the way I want to single out Cassandra who works at this location in Upland for her exceptional customer service her genuine understandin, her willingness to go above and beyond for the customer along with an exceptional testimony to what customer service truly should be like. I purchased three sandwiches from this location last night and one of them was made incorrectly. I called and spoke to Cassandra today and when I explained to her what happened, that I couldn't return the sandwich because the store was closed rather than question me or tell me there was nothing she could do or act like it wasn't her problem she was completely sympathetic, understanding and displayed her exceptional customer service! She was determined to make it right, to get the sandwich done correctly and gave me a promise that I would be able to get my sandwich done correctly. I just want to leave this testimony for her managers for her regional manager, management team and leadership team at Jersey Mike's I highly encourage you to continue investing in and bringing aboard people like Cassandra! She is amazing at her job and is a first-rate top-notch example of what customer service should be like, way to go Cassandra way to go way to go! She definitely deserves to be recognized and if it were up to me I would promote her just because of her customer service skill set. May all of you at Jersey Mike's have a Happy Thanksgiving, may you sit out time to thank God for what this year has brought approach Thanksgiving with a heart of thankfulness and just enjoy great times and food with family and friends!
