Butter Cafe Bakery - Upland

I'm not typically a breakfast person, but I absolutely love this place. The menu is intriguing, and the food is delicious. I've had the breakfast sandwich, huevos rancheros, and lilikoi French toast, and I enjoyed every single bite. The pastries are also quite impressive. Next time, I plan to explore the lunch menu!

The food was great, but the ordering experience was frustrating. The breakfast burrito was fantastic, but I was let down by their ordering service. I placed an online order through their website and was informed it would be ready in 45 minutes. When I tried to call to confirm the timing, I couldn't reach anyone; the phone just went to a recorded message with no option to speak to a person. To pass the time, I decided to run an errand, but received a text just 15 minutes later saying my food was ready. Unfortunately, by the time I finished my errand, my burrito had already been sitting for 20 minutes.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food has always been great. However, today everything was served cold, the meat was overcooked, and the eggs were nearly raw.

I was excited to try a new place for breakfast. I got the country fried steak breakfast. The country fried steak and eggs were good. The tater tots were mediocre. The gravy for the steak was terrible. Being from the Midwest, it is made with milk, corn starch, butter. It is usually white, not brown and spicy. The toast had no butter. When my husband went up to ask for it, the lady was rude to him. My husband and son were not happy with their meal at all and didn't eat most of it. They got Huevos Rancheros. There was a gentleman that brought us ice water, which was very nice. I expect an above average experience when dining, so I will not return.

First off the restaurant hid their letter rating which was a C. I have never in my entire lifetime seen a C rating for a food place. The food was bland and gross. NEVER. EAT. HERE. ITS. DISGUSTING.
