Aroma Indian Grill & Banquet - Upland

Take your restaurant off door dash. Just waited 2 hours for food then they canceled it caused you are apparently closed

This review should actually be zero stars, because NO FOOD was received. On August 2nd, we placed an order with Aroma Indian Banquet and Grill in Upland, CA. We were told to pick up the order at 965 W. Foothill Blvd and to say we had ordered with Postmates. Upon arriving at this address, after knocking, a man came out, half asleep and told us that the business has a new owner and that they are no longer a functional business. We tried many times to contact the restaurant and never got a human being. Same with Postmates, which is an evil, middle-man app that should die for its total lack of reachability. This NON MEAL amounted to over a $100 charge on our credit card. This is incredibly horrible business practice on the part of Postmates and Aroma.

Good place, best indian place around. Tikka masala chicken or paneer is very good. Cam customize heat kevel as well.

The food quality is still amazing but they seem to be severely understaffed. An hour wait time for food when we are the only ones seated is a bit excessive.

The food is delicious, some of the best around here. However, the service is a different story. It took our food 1 hour to come out and there were only 4-5 other tables seated. The host and servers seemed to be running around with their heads off. I don't think I'll be back after what I experienced last time since we up and left after no food for an hour. Straight up unacceptable. That's why it gets a 1 star. Your food can be impeccable but if you don't have reliable staff/service then your business is deplorable.
