Contribute FeedbackWe just got home from a fantastic week in Obertaurn. By chance we landed at M3/Barbara (at Bridge No. 3). We had lunch at the restaurant 5 times a group of ten between 4 and 51. All meals were delicious and the price was very reasonable. We have often spent too much money for lousy food in the mountain restaurants, but this is ski in/ski outside at the bottom of the slopes, so easy access! We had soup, pasta, pizzas, baked potatoes, schnitzel a.s.o. Very recommended!
Our family arranged for a meat fondue meal last night was this restaurant opened for the season. It was excellent. The owner, Christian Sager, served us with good humor and gave us excellent advice on the wine we ordered. There is also an extensive a la carte menu. The restaurant decor was very pleasant.
We quickly found out that good places were not as easy as going to dinner in Obertauern. So we booked our table in this restaurant and we were very happy with the experience: good food, nice atmosphere, courteous waiter. Nothing to complain. Do not hesitate to try.... Your outdoor terrace is also very nice for lunch during a ski day, right on the slope basically!
We visited in the winter, during our winter sport holiday. We had dinner with the four us (two couples). The starters where great (I ordered a delicious carpaccio). Two of us liked the main courses, the other two where a little dissapointed. The deserts are great, especially the variant of the schwarzwalder kirsch. The wine of the house was good. Good atmosphere (some good and some slick jazz), perfect service. It's a small place, so be sure to make a reservation.
