Took my dogs here for one of their birthdays, and would definitely take them back here again! Lovely atmosphere and outside seating area, food was great, wait staff were friendly and played with my dogs. Happy to have a dog friendly place where I can enjoy food as well! :) View all feedback.
What Haley Blanda doesn't like about Whistle & Flute:
the music was too loud that you couldn't talk. the owner went away from me when I waited to pay. he has no idea what was on the bill for my table when I was the last. the waiting staff was good, but my friends felt they were unhappy. View all feedback.

Fantastic food, both lunch and brekky. I've had the corn fritters - SO GOOD. The fried chicken dish and the minced lamb (lunch menu) are also amazing. Haven't found a brunch place that produces such unique flavour combos in a while. It's refreshing to find a place that does breakfast food stretching beyond the regular eggs, smashed avo etc. Coffee is great; would highly recommend their single origin of the week option. Friendly staff, nice decor - I'll be back for sure.
Simple fresh and delicious breakfast. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was cute and so many cute dogs. Menu was small but excellent, just enough to choose from. Coffee was great too
Had a lovely brunch here. Nice atmosphere with excellent service. Corn fritters were ordered which was a generous serving plated with avocado and feta and greens - very tasty. Chia pudding was my friends choice which looked picturesque. Would recommend this lovely cafe!
With the cool ultra mod mix of industrial lighting fixtures and brimming greenery Whistle & Flute has a good feel about it. Tucked unassumingly behind a sliding door this place is always busy at lunch time. I went for breaky with a friend from interstate after deciding 9.30 on a Monday was not a time we wanted to spend waiting in line at Argo. What a great decision! I had the beetroot with poached eggs. Came with haloumi and I added bacon because I was exceptionally hungry. I was met with a MOUNTAIN of food when it arrived. So much bacon, SO MUCH BACON! Eggs with beautiful runny yolks, seriously thin beetroot adding an acidity to the salty generous amount of haloumi, bitter leaves, a smattering of pumpkin seeds and some lovely bread, what a dish. I've also had lunch here and been absolutely delighted by the masses of herbs and sprouts and flavours brought together by Whistle and Flute. The proof is in how busy this is at lunch time. Most of the waitstaff fantastic, one who seemed to dither around a bit but all in all will absolutely come back. A real treat.
