Chambers Bay Grill - University Place

We came here for our first anniversary since we were married at Chambers. The staff decided to go all out for our special day. We had a private table inside their party tent with our own private staff. It was amazing and we can't thank them enough for making us feel so special!

I reserved for 10 at 8:00 not realizing they closed at 9:00. We didn't get out until 9:15 or so but no one hurried us and service was not excellent all around. The staff too pictures of us all which was greatly appreciated this was a surprise birthday party for my husband. A wonderful time was had by all.

The restaurant offers a small but carefully curated menu. I tried the chowder, which was surprisingly good for a grill. I also ordered the Cod Chips with sweet potato fries, both of which were delicious. However, I wasn't a fan of the slaw as it lacked flavor. My girlfriend also had the Cod Chips with regular fries and a house salad with ranch dressing on the side. She found the salad to be bland, but enjoyed the Cod fries. Our waiter and host provided excellent service without being overly attentive. They struck the perfect balance.

The cuisine was exquisite and the ambiance was delightful. We all savored our meals and indulged more than we intended, finding it difficult to resist.

Our group attended the MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH... we were very pleased with the service, very friendly helpful staff....VERY BEAUITFUL Tables The way the Tent was set up overlooking the golf course puget sound, it was SO PRETTY...The Buffet style dining food was VERY GOOD . I think the only SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE remark I would have to say about our experience was the $49 price of the BRUNCH Per person I think there should have been more variety of seafood offered such as shrimp, crab, clams,etc... salmon was the only sea food Offered Chambers Bay compared to other scenic water view water front restrauants in the area for Brunch pricing, most other places were ..$10 to $15 ..less. Other then that our overall experience Chambers Bay this year was very much a Pleasant Mothes Day .. the food was great a happy experience ...THANK YOU :
