Ordered pizza for delivery to our hotel, per front desk employee recommendation. Pizza was full of fresh ingredients. We ordered the grateful veg (Lenten Friday) This was a delicious meatless choice. Delivery was within time frame stated when ordering and was an easy option for travelers not wanting to go back out for a meal. View all feedback.
What bobrusa doesn't like about A Slice Of Woodstock's:
The UCSB students appear to rave about this Pizzeria. It says on the TA description that only takeout is allowed, but this restaurant was quite overcrowded on Sat, Sep 17, 2021. We ordered an extra large vegetarian pizza. There was nothing remarkable about it... but hey, it was a Pizza! so it was lapped up! View all feedback.
The pizza is moderately better than Little Caesar’s for roughly the same price, but the place is never open. I went by on a Thursday after a class at 10:50, twenty minutes after they’re suppose to open, and they’re still closed. I can never seem to eat there because they’re never open, and the two times I have managed to actually give them my money the food has been okay, just okay. And the cinnamon dessert pizza is dry and not worth it.

I got out of lab hella hungry. I decided to get some pizza. I walked to the place and called to an employee. They saw I was there and ignored me so I’m not going there again.

We ate here tonight after seeing the stellar Trip Advisor ratings and getting a recommendation from a student. We ordered two pizzas (BBQ and Veg) and some cheesy tater tots, and all of us were very disappointed in our experience. The restaurant was not crowded at all. The food was flavorless and overcooked, and it was very hard to get any service. The place had a good vibe with a good beer selection at decent prices, so maybe it’s not known for its pizza and we chose poorly. Or maybe not…
