What Michael A doesn't like about The Banh Mi Shop:
It's fast-casual, like Chipotle, but Asian. The portions are kind of small, so you have to order two things to feel full. Two of us spent $48 for 4 entrees and one drink. It's small but clean. This is my personal hidden gem in the loop. It is a bit of a hole in the wall, but don't let that fool you. The Banh Mi choices are really good, and I've never had a bad sandwich here. The biggest highlight in my personal opinion is the bread. I don't know where they get it from/how it's made but it is the perfect crunchy texture that synergizes so well with the meat and vegetables with every sandwich. View all feedback.
