My family and I have been eating from this restaurant for years. This place is a hit and miss. In the past year the quality of the food has gone down. We have purchased carne guisada that is so salty you can't even eat. Egg and bacon that is to greasy and beans from a can. I have gotten to the point where I am done going back!! El Torro is a special place for me, known for serving the most delicious tacos in UC! The flavorful tacos are a sensation for your taste buds - not only are they incredibly tasty, but El Torro also maintains a perfect balance between quantity and quality. The hardworking and friendly staff make each visit memorable. Whether you love tacos or simply want a great dining experience, El Torro is a must-try!
Called ahead to place order and when I picked up the woman behind the counter was very friendly and nice! She made sure that my order was complete and made sure I got everything. The barbacoa was really good! Really liked both the flour and corn tortillas as they're homemade!
Quick and friendly service, good breakfast tacos, reasonable prices. You get a decent amount of filling in the tacos, not like other places nearby with scraggly little breakfast tacos. Second time I’ve been there, wish I’d started eating there years ago! Update: Still my go-to taco place, but my wife and I got the Migas Plate this morning and it was very good too. Plus they kept our coffee cups topped off!
