We had our Girls Golf Team end of the season banquet in the Hiro Room, adjacent to the prime rib and seafood buffet. The set up, service, and hospitality were terrific. Efran and Shawna were there every step of the way to make this event memorable for our families, coaches, and administrators. Many parents complimented the wide assortment of food and our kids definitely enjoyed the desserts. A total Win-Win! Score! T... View all feedback.

The restaurant used to have excellent food, but unfortunately, the quality has declined. We came here for a special celebration, but were disappointed by the flavors and cooking standards. The chefs could benefit from visiting a high-quality buffet in Las Vegas to improve their skills. We recently dined at the Wynn buffet and had a truly exquisite culinary experience. There is still hope for Cafe Sierra to improve, but it may require retraining to restore its former glory. The prices are high for the lackluster food quality, but the service is attentive and friendly.
I enjoy buffets and have dined at various locations such as Indian Casinos, Las Vegas, and local restaurants in town. I especially enjoy eating a variety of foods. It is important to note that buffets can be expensive, and this one is no exception. If you are a seafood lover, then this buffet is perfect for you. However, I was hoping to see more variety in terms of other cuisines such as Mexican and Italian, which were lacking. There was a limited selection of American prime rib, veggies, and dessert cakes. I had heard about a donut bar but did not come across it during my visit. I did find it enjoyable that they offered popcorn and their ice cream station was reminiscent of Cold Stone Creamery with the customizable toppings. The crepes were a highlight for me. Personally, I would not return for dinner as the focus is mainly on seafood, but for seafood enthusiasts, it might be worth a try if you are willing to pay the price. I am curious to see what their breakfast buffet has to offer.
"The restaurant in the lobby is a fantastic oasis with a full menu and attentive staff. It is a perfect escape from the chaos and crowds of tour groups."
Cafe Sierra is a great place to to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. The buffet is one of the best out there. Jose was exceptionally great. Thanks to all.
The staff at Cafe Sierra are all so very nice, helpful greet you with a smile! We had breakfast here twice (we were staying in the hotel) and went to their Seafood Prime Rib Buffet on Friday night. Breakfast was great! The first morning I didn't want to eat too much so ordered the avocado toast. It was delicious egg cooked perfectly, a good portion of avocado on whole grain toast. It was exactly what I needed before hitting Universal Studios. The 2nd morning we did the breakfast buffet. I rolled out soooooooo full but it was great! Omelets made to order, waffles pancakes made to order as well. Along with everything else under the sun: chow mein, fried rice, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, doughnut bar, oatmeal...pretty much you name it, they had it! If you are ready for a hearty breakfast, it was well worth the price 30). Now unfortunately that is not how I felt about the seafood buffet. It wasn't bad per se, but I don't feel it was worth the money and I wouldn't go a second time. The crab was super salty, the lobster was tough, you could practically see through the slice of prime rib and so on. For $69 plus tip, it wasn't worth the money. But I do have to say, the staff are all wonderful so we tipped on their service, not the food quality.
