Bella Sera Italian - Universal City

We love this location in particular. The staff, Flori, Becky and Sofia are so friendly, prompt and courteous. We feel at home there. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. And the food...we absolutely love the food. We've eaten there 4-times including a take-out margherita pizza and every time we've been very happy. The quality is first-rate, it always arrives at the table hot (not warm) and is seasoned very well. So glad we found this place.

Food is ALWAYS very bland! There’s no aroma of Italian food when you walk in, so that says a lot! I’ve dined in had takeout. Service was not professional. I ordered pepperoni stromboli this last time, but received some flapped over, EXTRA oily, half-moon shaped piece of dough that looked/tasted like it was a premade calzone that they just scraped the extra ingredients out of to save on dough. This was my 3rd try at this restaurant I will NEVER be back after what I experienced! AND when I asked for a refund, they were very argumentative …….not a good look! I wouldn’t care if they offered me free food for a year; I will patronize at Noli’s Vite in Cibolo where the food service is ALWAYS superb!

I have always passed this place but decided to give it a shot finally, and it was simply amazing. I ordered take-out with chicken soup, chicken Alfredo, and a large pepperoni pizza Everything hit the spot, and we had leftovers for a few days. I will be buying here again and trying out more of their menu!

This is our new go-to Italian date place. I ordered the veal picatta and my date had the trio (chicken parmesan, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo). The service was fantastic, the meal was delicious. The pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommend.
