Reviews - Bluez on 2nd
Reviews summary
Bluez has garnered attention for its vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and an inviting menu, highlighted by standout dishes like their burgers and quesadillas. Diners praise the quality of food, often arriving hot and satisfying. However, some patrons express disappointment over long wait times and menu pricing, with complaints about undercooked pizza and questionable delivery experiences. While many enjoy the casual vibe with games and sports on TV, others feel the establishment may be struggling with service consistency. Overall, Bluez remains a notable stop in Unity, though experiences can vary significantly.

What Jason Middleton dislikes about Bluez on 2nd:
Just needed supper for me, my wife and my 4 yr old. We ordered takeout and the kids spaghetti was so spicy that we threw it out, stir fry had only green beans and salt in it. Veal cutlets tasted like paper towels. $95 do yourself a favour and go to A&W or subway. Used to love this place. Table before us waited over an hr then left 90% of food cause they had to leave. We waited 45mins for a pizza that was raw. Worse part is how the menu makes no sense. 11 for a side of fries? 4 for a fountain pop. Left disappointed and won't return. Way way over priced. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We had a delicious meal and were treated so well by the person taking orders and serving food!

I can't stop thinking about the Shepherd's Pie I had at this fantastic modern pub four months ago.
I visited this restaurant on my recent trip to Vancouver. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the Marriott Pinnacle where I was staying.
I believe this Pub changed ownership approximately 1 year ago, purchased by a Lebanese family. They are known as a Brew Pub, though I have not tried their beer. I've eaten here several times, very good pizza, donairs are my favorite, they have wing night and other pub-type foods. A couple of pool tables and vlts, golf game, service is good, music is usually playing and can be loud so be aware. I believe they have beer off-sale. New ownership has implemented family dining on Sundays so all ages can enter. Across from the movie theatre in Unity so you can go for supper and then a movie. Several big TVs to watch a game and have drinks. I recommend as an alternative to the usual small town restaurant.
