True old fashion pork ribs. Also the pinto beans are very good. Biggest problem I have is getting there before they sell out.
Highly recommend this one, and hope they could open the branch at where I’m living(Michigan). The best ribs I have!
I wish we could give them more than 5 stars!! My husband and I were in Tyler for work and we stopped by for our first meal in Tyler. Myyyy goodness!!!! We were offered a rib to sample. That sealed the deal. We ordered a 4 meat plate and a BBQ potato. There was so much food we could make three meals out of our order. Portions were huge. The ribs fell off the bone and the meat was the best we’ve had. We travel a lot for work and we are native Texans so I don’t use that term generously. It was the BEST ribs we’ve ever had. The customer service was top notch. They were friendly and welcoming and downright GOOD people. I ended up ordering a blackberry cobbler to go and ate it at the hotel and it was as good as my great grandma’s cobbler. I haven’t eaten cobbler as good as her since the 80’s. I wish we could pack this place up and take it back to Houston with us. When you travel a lot for work, meals just become routine, average, ”same ol, same ol” but not this place. We will be back EVERY time we come to Tyler.
