The food presentation was pleasant, but I was disappointed with the small size of the $12 margarita. There were no specials available. The crab empanada was bland and unappealing. The tamales and mushroom dish were unappetizing. The pork tacos tasted stale, like they were cooked in old oil. The atmosphere was average. A repeat visit to Nixta and I am so glad we came back here.
Being rated as the #9 new restaurant in America in 2017 by Bon Apetit, I knew it was time that I finally tried Nixta.
We did enjoyed it This is more of a tapa style restaurantExpect to buy at least 2 dishes each.
We had a great experience on the patio. Food was delicious, and the service was great. Definitely would come again!
