Place i... read more Got the subway out to brooklynn from downtown Manhatten as wanted to try a more authentic amercian dinner, though there is one of these in times square. Place is large, was quiet when we went there, arround 10 am. Tried the french toast with canadian ham. Very good. Dishes come with stewed apples! Like the look of the cheesecakes, but having had sucj a large breakfast, didnt give it a try.

The cupcakes were moist and flavorful, and the chocolate fudge cake was rich, decadent, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The seating was comfortable, and the overall vibe was great for relaxing and enjoying a sweet treat. I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos—it all looked just as amazing as it tasted. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and welcoming, with a classic New York charm that really adds to the dining experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel well looked after throughout our visit. The food was generally good – we tried a few different dishes and everything was nicely presented and flavourful. I did order a steak, which I felt could have been seasoned a bit better and cooked with a touch more finesse, but it was still enjoyable. Prices are what you’d expect in New York – definitely not cheap, but fair given the location and popularity of the place. All in all, I’d be happy to return.
