Fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants in town. Small plates are larger than you’d expect and large plates are enormous. Favorites have been Dan Dan Noodles and the sushi rolls but all the food we’ve had so far is great as are the drinks. Terrific specialty cocktails and four different non alcoholic beers which is great for those who want a non alcoholic drink choice. Atmosphere is relaxed but also very clean... View all feedback.
What G H doesn't like about Governor Bradford:
Unable to cook fried rice......... Fried sushi was a fail. Sickly and full of cheese, so I sent it back. I asked for a bowl of fried rice instead. How can a Japanese themed restaurant serve up mushy, overcooked fried rice? That got sent back also. Paid for drinks only and left. Spoke to some locals later on. They'd never eaten there....... Hard pass. View all feedback.
This was the absolute perfect restaurant for us for the first time on the Cape. I love the decor, the music and the food. We were lucky to come when we did it because the kitchen was two closed and although it was two minutes to the left, they still took our order and without complaints. Thank you!!!!
We had lunch at Governor Bradford in Provincetown because Gov. Bradford is my 16-time big gramps. It had a cool mood that I certainly needed years to master. The food was good. I would recommend anyone looking for this Ptown experience.
We visited on Wednesday in the season (only after the restrictions of Covid were cancelled). There was no table service, so the bar area was a little busy. Both bartenders were not on the spot. Red wine is served in a cup with lots of wine glasses hanging up. When he was asked if they had a glass, he grabbed it and just put it down to pour it. In the second round, the other bartender heard the first 2 of 3 drinks and prepared a wrong. He was mad at us for his mistake. The karaoke was lively and the drinks were overall stiff. Happy nightlife!
So glad this place was open. When we went in the spring, not many places were open to dinner. The service was okay. We had the wings that were really good, the lobster ravioli was ok and the lobster roll had too much Mayo otherwise not bad.
Great outdoor patio in summer it's perfect for dinner. The seafood is very fresh and many dishes with reasonable prices. The service is slow because it's usually busy but very friendly staff. One of the best spots in Provincetown. Ask for daily specials.
