On the outside of the building I didn't expect much, but that's not why we go to restaurants. We were curious about a restaurant named Cajun Greek. We were not disappointed. The menue is definitely a mix of traditional Greek and Cajun food. Who knew! We had a Greek appetizer of cheese olives and pita. I can't recall the name. It was really good. I ended up ordering the Gumbo. It had everything you would think traditi... View all feedback.
What Josh Doyle doesn't like about Cajun Greek:
Service was good. Food was good. The price vs the servings was NOT good. $40 for 4 itty bitty shrimp and 2 pieces of less average size catfish…this does NOT includes any sides. View all feedback.
Oh. My. God. We were here last year and had to come back. They remodeled it and made it more spacious. Very clean and their bar is beautiful. Our bartender was very amable and helpful when ordering. Now let me tell you about my Mac and Cheese. When I tell you I wanted to cry of happiness when I took that first bite! So rich and creamy. The salmon was perfect and the little bites of sausage, crawfish tails and shrimp were divine! So worth $44!
Absolute tourist trap. So overpriced it's borderline theft. 4.79 for a soda 14.99/lb of crawfish 4.99 to add bacon to a burger
Was really looking forward to eating here. It has this really cool look from the outside and kind of dinerish on the inside. Service was pretty good and the wine selection. OK... Even the house wine wasn't too bad. So we started with the famous gumbo... Not sure where it's famous, but it was pretty bland and nowhere near famous. I decided to have the Ahi tuna... As I wanted something light, but flavorful. Big swing and a miss here. The sauce on the bottom had virtually no flavor... I mean zilch. The ahi tuna was either old or simply not a good cut of tuna. it wasn't edible, but I tried. Where I'm always fascinated is when you finish or say your finished... and the bartender takes your plate sees you've only eaten a portion of your entrée and says nothing...then hands you the check that highlights a 30% tip. I could only laugh to myself... I did struggle through 14% as she wasn't bad... Just not curious. I'm certain fried food is good... Just not my thing
The shrimp were a good size but not flavorful and outrageously expensive. 8 shrimp for $24.99. Wayyyyy too expensive for what it is.
Excellent food and service. The restaurant expanded their dining room which was an ambiance improvement.
