The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic hotel. I had a pleasant stay overall. The restaurant had a beautifully decorated room with well-arranged seating. The food was plentiful and included a delicious mix of fresh sandwiches, hot sausages, and fries. There were many options for drinks, including fresher saw and Bara-Bryth. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions, but it also seems like a great place for any type of gathering. I didn't see any celebrities, but they do have private rooms. There was also a nice pub on the premises. The facilities were clean and well-maintained.

Unfortunately, my husband did bump his head on the lower door frame despite the warning given.
We had a delightful lunch at this restaurant, with excellent service from Paula. She was friendly and engaging. We started with onion rings as an appetizer, followed by baked chicken with fries. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to reflect its historical setting. The prices were fair and our meals were served hot and delicious. We look forward to returning when we visit again.
We had a nice meal and the staff is so friendly. I'd go again. I had the fish and chips and the teig melted in my mouth and my man had the pizza that is big and served on a wood plate. it was all nice.
Great experience. Food was excellent. Service was quick. The young lady who served us couldn't have been more pleasant. The Wynnstay, Ruabon is our restaurant of choice. Although we live 40 miles away it is well worth the drive.
