Yes, the rooms are small, but do you really need a bigger room for one person? There's a shower, no tub, and the washroom is a bit smaller but it wasn't an issue. There's still room for a desk and a chair next to the bed. The staff are all really nice. The location is great as it's next to the Westfield mall and the train station. There's tons to around. The TV is mounted to the wall in the corner and sticks out. I d... View all feedback.
What Alma H doesn't like about Am Pm Hilton:
This conveniently located hotel used to be great. It is now a Third World Motel. The public areas are disgusting. Filthy carpets. Bathrooms have urine on the floor that gets cleaned up if you complain at the front desk. Rooms are OK, but the rugs to the rooms need cleaning. Room housekeeping is light but adequate. Breakfast buffet is a total ripoff. Try the Prêt à Manger that is a five to ten minute walk away and spe... View all feedback.
My wife and I recently went on a tour of Great Britain with Trafalgar Tours and this hotel was our starting point. We got there a couple of days early to get acclimated. This appears to be a slightly older hotel and that became quite obvious as our room had twin beds and the wooden bed frames felt like they were falling apart because they creaked really bad whenever we moved on them. The air conditioning didn't work rather which was annoying. After the tour we stayed here another week to explore London. Our room this time was a bit better but the toilet wouldn't flush half the time. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to look at it, but that never happened and we went to sleep. Also, although this is a non-smoking hotel, someone in the room next to us was smoking marijuana which we could smell in our room. The next day housekeeping and I guess they deep cleaned the room next door but kept slamming the vacuum cleaner against the door which was annoying because we were trying to nap. This room did have functioning air conditioning. On the positive the room had a small refrigerator and we got two complimentary cans of still and sparkling water each day. Staying here included the breakfast buffet which was so-so but surprisingly the lounge had really good food. We are there twice and had fish and chips and a cheeseburger, both were better than the same dishes elsewhere on our trip. The biggest reason to stay here is the location. It's only a few blocks from the Shepherds Bush underground station as well as the Westfield London, which is the largest indoor mall not only in the UK but in all of Europe (over 300 stores). There are a ton or restaurants near the mall and I would advise you to eat there if you are up to a 10 minute walk.

This hotel is not handicap accessible. They have some ramps but not into the restaurant and not next to various steps around the hotel in public places. Do you think they have even ONE bench outside the front door of the hotel? No, they do not. Not a single place to wait for a cab etc. It was so difficult to maneuver around this hotel we left after 3 days.
Probably the most disguisting Hilton I've been in. This hotel needs to be knocked down and renovated. The rooms are so small, you will keep walking into the bed and hitting your elbows. There's no where for luggage. The furniture is old and worn down. The shower is usually clogged and the water shoots out everywhere. The room stinks of London toilet. The only thing that is decent is the bed. Oh and it's in front of the big Westfield. Oh yes and the front desk staff all have an attitude and are rude as can be.
This is a good location for a hotel in London if you're not staying Central yet using Heathrow. Notting Hill is a 20 minute walk or a double deck bus ride from the hotel and all you need is a credit card to get on. London is filled with parks and Holland Park, just a few steps away is lovely, particularly in the springtime and summer. Westfield mall and the Tube station is minutes away by foot However, the best aspect of this hotel is the staff. From top to bottom, kind and sweet, respectful and after having been using this hotel for years: the FRONT DESK.
