Country Rose Bakery Cafe - Union Grove

Our second time here, but probably our last. the waitress brought me my latte and then went away to wiping the edge of the table with a dirty cloth, saying that the whipped cream was flooded. she seemed half asleep and out. When we asked for our check, she came back to the table after a few minutes and asked: “What did you drink again?” well, she wrote it down when we ordered, so we started to ask what she did with the original ticket she wrote. then the bill came and there was something we didn't order added. So we flew them behind and let them know. she said, "Oh, let me cross it well and tell her to the front." the restaurant was busy so I can imagine how many other mistakes were made. the floor was also super sticky when I went on fly paper.

Country rose is a great place to have breakfast or lunch and the bakery is so awesome and a big selection to take home. The workers are very good ?and so are the cooks.

Great food , pies , and very friendly employees.Their hot chocolate was fantastic.Had their biscuits and gravy and it was very good. Had 2 of their chocolate cream pies for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it.I recommend you give this place a try.

This place is usually packed but they are really good. Service food is outstanding. Be sure to stop at the bakery counter. You won't be sorry!

Compared to some other breakfast-serving casual restaurants, the menu was very limited, with even more limited options for someone who doesn't eat pork. The food itself was decent, though nothing to write home about. Our server was, using my wife's word, abrasive No was at the tip of her tongue as if it was the default answer for everything even if she was polite about it.It does seem to be an isolated case, and they also seem to be well known for their bakery items and party cakes. Adding the fact it's not the closest restaurant to my house, I'd only go back if there was nothing else open and I was quite hungry.
