Waffle House - Union City

It seems that due to the pandemic, Waffle House locations are not opening until 6:00 or 7:00. I miss the days when they were open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is a shame how much the pandemic has affected these companies. The grits I ordered were okay, but I felt they could have been better. I was hungry at the time and not very hopeful about returning. I may try something different next time and hope for a better experience.

The food is always hot and fresh, the staff is friendly. I love sitting at the counter. It's always surprising to me how the cook can remember all the orders and still focus on the food being cooked. They all deserve a raise.

Terrible service! I have visited this restaurant twice and both times the staff were extremely unprofessional. I stood at the counter waiting to place my order, but the cashier completely ignored me. It seems like they only care about serving their regulars or male customers. The management needs to address this issue. It's disappointing that the Waffle Houses in the black community always seem to have rude and unprofessional employees. I will never return to this place. It's a shame to see such poor service. Get it together!

My waffel was delicious! our server, ashanti, was very friendly and polite. my man found a hair in his oash-browns and could not finish his meal.

24 hrs? BS! Went there at 4pm and they were closed. 4 employees inside just looking at people trying to get in. Went there another day around 6:30pm, doors locked again. Went there months later around 1pm, doors locked. An employee said they were in the middle of shift change… while 2 of them stood outside smoking. Horrible place.Update:I’m here at 9pm, and they said the same thing, shift change. There’s 4 people waiting and they said the next shift is “on the way”. Yet 2 employees are sitting around doing nothing and a 3rd is outside smoking.
