Jj's Retro Eatery - Union City

My wife and I had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday on 9/10-11. The food was fantastic and the service was great! If you like French toast, you have the Cinnamon French toast!! It's dying! The all-you-eat breakfast is also top-notch! I love this place. My family owns a cottage at Canadohta Lake and for a few years we would drive over the retro on the way to Union City and say We should really try! We finally made it and it's the bomb!! Try it out, you won't regret it!

I had the I Love Lucy, a melt sandwich, on marblerye, with a sunny side boiled egg, mushrooms, sweet onions, spinach, and a creamy ish swiss cheese and it was so delicious! In any case ask for additional napkins, because on the first bite, so loaded with big ingredients, you will probably need them as I did. I wasn't necessarily looking for a meatless sandwich, but about the time I was on my last bites, I realized that sandwich was exactly what I wanted, and I didn't miss the meat at all. The coffee was delicious, not too strong, and absolutely fresh. I almost drooled when I came to this restaurant and looked at the house. I got a piece of pumpkin cheesecake and after a few bites was so full that I had to bring the rest of the piece home. I will definitely recommend your restaurant to friends.

After waiting for a year, I finally had to eat at this place and I absolutely loved it. Great food, great staff!!!

We are blessed to have the Retro here for us all to enjoy. The food is always good, as is the service. Greg and Deb James are always at the helm working hard. It shows in the service and the food. The servers are always very welcoming and take great care of us and our friends. The Diner it self is beautiful ! It's like going back in time. Then we get to end the meal with the best pies and deserts. Keep up the great job, we are grateful you are here in union city.

I went to this restaurant last Saturday for the very first time!! The menu has so much to choose from, the service was great and the food was absolutely amazing!! I'll definitely be going back! I also loved the inside!! It's so cool looking!!
