Soul Food Factory - Union

Really amazing experience tonight at the Soul Food Factory. From the moment you go, you feel like the family. We met the owner, the cook and some of their family. We have to hear how the recipes were taught to him by his mother. 3 of us got the fried chicken, my husband got the crushed pork chops and both were amazing. All the pages we had were incredible Candied Yams, Mac n cheese, herb, beans and rice, and the maize bread. We have visited many soul food restaurants on the east coast and it is hard to find one where everything tastes this amazing and authentic. We can't wait to go back. Make yourself a favor and do not regret it.

My sister ran over dinner last week. 6 of us went. All enjoyed their meals. I tasted the turkey dogs, the cabbage (delish), crowned greens, chicken wings and I had the fish and chips that consisted of pipes and frits. Uptown drink is very good. Mark was our server and he was very pleasant. The atmosphere is very secret. The cook came out and talked to us. Good food, pleasant atmosphere... you can't go wrong.

My wife and I decided to stay here because we ate a cat and I heard good things. We were believed and sitting in a contemporary and friendly way. They had an event on the back and a patience was used. We've got our orders in Mrs. Ochsenschwanz????? Eating was about 12 minutes.hot, fresh and DELICIOUS! Collard Greens, cornbread, potato salad all were tasteful and edible... my wife's yams were also delectible. Don't go there? The catfish had a crispy crust and was perfectly cooked on the inside. The oxen were also rockin. You have a pretty nice menu and I will be back to explore more of it. If you want a soul food, you won't go wrong here.

It was my first time to try this house. He just did it on Wednesday. They close at 8:00!! Google Maps has it wrong. When I went to the host, mentioned that they were closed at eight, but he liked to take my order and happy what I appreciate very much. I had such a desire for this food. I have the vegetarian plate? Collard Greens, Mac cheese, potato salad and cornbread. I have no complaints about the food. The crowned greens are salty (good) and have a bite. The Mac cheese is baked and has taste. The potato salad is very evenly matched to aromas. I usually prefer Savory Maisbrot, but this is mild sweet, which I liked was not excessively sweet.

I am so happy to have found this place! Check out my pic. See that chicken? It was crispy and juicy as can be. It's not battered and it ain't breaded but whatever it is they're using it sure is scrumptious! Food is cooked to order so if you're hungry I suggest you have an appetizer. I'm coming back for lunchtime so I can have the fish with the cheesy grits! Come on down and have some of this great food! and no I am in no way related to anyone in this establishment. The food is just GOOD!
