Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Union

It's Popeyes. This location is relatively new, so the interior is usually cleaner than many others in the area. In my experience, the chicken has consistently been fresh. I usually order the tenders, and I’ve noticed they often give me more than what I pay for, which is a nice surprise. The drive-thru is also quite efficient. The staff's customer service is about what you'd expect. Overall, a solid choice!

I visited on May 19, 2022, just before closing time, and Ronald informed us that they were nearly out of food. However, he handled the situation like a true professional, making every effort to accommodate us, and it turned out wonderfully. We are grateful for his dedication and perseverance, which made our experience enjoyable. Thank you so much for your help, and we look forward to returning soon!

I grabbed a quick drive-thru lunch and ordered the shrimp tackle box for $6. The shrimp were flavorful and a good size for a fast-food meal. When it comes to Popeye's, it's all about that spice!

This place is better than the ones in Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ. The Classic Chicken Sandwiches I ordered were served hot and were incredibly tasty. I also enjoyed their brewed Sweet Tea, which wasn't overly sweet!

The chicken sandwiches have a classic flavor that you expect from a good chicken sandwich. They really nailed it. I recommend adding extra pickles and sauce, and go with the regular option instead of the spicy one.
